Roots Latin Grill
Latin American and Hispanic cultures are scattered all around the world, from the United states to the tip of South America and all the way to Europe and other continents.
This style of cuisine embodies the traditions of it’s many peoples and their ancestors. The rich and diverse food culture developed over the centuries it is due to the colonization and a mix of different cultures and races, that explains the unique flavor profiles for each region.
We have an extensive variety of cuisine styles that even though they seem different they share the same cultural ROOTS.
At ROOTS, we use high quality ingredients and spices, the food is made as close as possible to what you would find in those countries, so that allows us to bring to you fresh homemade style food with restaurant standards.
Our menu is a combination of small and big plates, featuring a variety of hot and cold dishes, some have multiple pieces that can be enjoyed by 2 or 3 people, but not all dishes are meant to be shared, some are a single servings or a full meal .
The concept of ROOTS embraces the Latino culture, our values, our food, our drinks, but the most iconic symbol of the Latino way of life is sharing memories, laughs, and long conversations with friends and family.
Making a toast “Salud” over a glass of wine or one of our unique drinks and saying “Provecho” over a plate of delicious food is what makes life worth living.
Salud y Buen Provecho

It may come as a surprise that Latin American cuisine also draws influence from across the globe. Native Americans used crops such as corn, chuño and potatoes. Today, these crops continue to be used in modern-day Peruvian, Bolivian, Ecuadorian, Paraguayan and Colombian dishes.
African influences can be seen in the meat in Latin American dishes. For example, in South America slaves would mix and season the food landlords left for them. These imaginative plates were adopted into the dishes of their respective nation.
Latin American cuisine has also evolved from European influences over the years. Mostly, European influences are derived from Spain, Portugal and Italy. On a smaller scale, you may also find influences from France, Britain, Germany and Eastern Europe.
Dishes were also influenced by a wave of immigration from Asia, most notably China and Japan. Latin American people particularly adopted Chinese spices and food-styles, while the compliment was returned with Asian restaurants incorporating Latin American food-styled into their dishes.
